When planning a wedding, the budget often veers out of control, when costs of the different wedding supplies begin to pile up. Economizing is an important skill to have when planning a ceremony, so that once a couple is married, they dont have to deal with a crushing debt on top of the task of penning the thank-you cards. Some people have gone as far as putting live goldfish in their centerpieces - not a bad idea, though goldfish have a tendency to go belly-up at the most inopportune time, and nothing puts people off that poached salmon you are serving at the wedding more than a dead fish.

But the idea of combining different elements for the centerpieces is clever if the wedding is being held in a rural setting, putting together a centerpiece of a horseshoe, surrounded by beautiful wildflowers and babys breath is a clever and witty idea. Having a Parisian theme is also quite easy miniature Eiffel Towers with other Gallic touches like small French flags or porcelain roosters are also adorable and affordable parts of an elegant sum. Again, the cost of these homemade centerpieces will allow for you to keep your wedding supplies budget very low.

Making homemade wedding supplies has the potential of being hokey and cheesy-looking, but with advance planning, and cooperation with friends who can be seen as amateur experts, the experience can be fun and rewarding as the guests will leave, knowing that much of what theyve enjoyed at the wedding was done by hand and with love.
