Different Ways to Use Wedding Bells on Your Special Day
The idea of wedding bells has traditionally been to herald the new day for the bride and groom and announce their arrival, as one, into the world. In fact, during the summer months, countless church bell towers can be heard ringing in the wonderful news.
Besides the church bell tower, how else can a bride and her groom use wedding bells in their reception and ceremony? There are a number of ways, all of which show a lot of class and give a nod to the traditions of yesteryears.
Reception Uses
Perhaps one way to use wedding bells in the reception is to have the announcement of the new couple given not by music and announcing but by the ringing of table bells placed on each of the plates on the head table. Just about everyone there, including the junior bridesmaid and flower girls, are sure to enjoy the announcement that way.
Another idea that has been used by the bride and groom is to incorporate wedding bells into the invitations and reception cards, and this can be accomplished a number of ways. Different ideas include embossing the image of two wedding bells on the invitations or using wedding bell stamps on the return envelope. Some couples have even decided to string a few jingle bells on their invitations if the event was around the yuletide season.
Of course, another way to use wedding bells in the reception is to create table center pieces around them. Just about everyone recognizes the meaning and significance behind the wedding bells, so be sure to have fun with it. Incorporate some of your favorite colors, flowers, and yes, even some other types of bells if you like. Before you know it, the center pieces will announce your arrival very well indeed.
Ceremony Uses
The use of wedding bells does not have to be confined to the reception hall. Many churches understand the meaning behind the wedding bells, and are happy to incorporate it into the ceremony. The best idea is to talk to the person officiating the wedding, and try to figure out how to best incorporate the sound of bells into the ceremony. This can be such things as using it as a musical interlude or as part of the benediction.
Wedding bells are perhaps one of the most enduring, and endearing, features of a wedding ceremony that anyone can remember. Who hasn't read in romantic novels of the bells purling joyously out into the afternoon air after the hero has finally kissed his beautiful bride? The memories of your wedding day can be just as special and romantic.

Prior to the arrival of the bride-to-be, the mother of the bride and the mother of the groom come forward and light the two tapers. Most restaurants and halls will have a brochure or folder containing all of their information and prices. Just remember to have fun with it, and the pictures in your wedding photo album will be great.
If you are planning a double-ring ceremony, it is not necessary that the bands be identical.
You want to look stunning, without taking away the attention from your dress. If purchasing the tiara online, you will most likely not be able to return it. Economizing is an important skill to have when planning a ceremony, so that once a couple is married, they dont have to deal with a crushing debt on top of the task of penning the thank-you cards.
